Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much do lessons cost?

    Guitar Lessons are $50 for half an hour $60 for 45min and $80 for the hour. The student pays by term (all terms are charged at ten weeks). There are no other associated costs.

  • Where do the lessons take place?

    Lessons are held out our private studio. The address is 67 Gahans Ave, Woonona.

  • How long are your Guitar lessons?

    30 45 and 60 minute lessons are available.

  • What ages do you teach?

    We take students on from the age of 6 and no one is ever too old to learn. We are friendly, fun, qualified, experienced and patient teachers.

  • Do I need my own instrument?

    Yes. Having your own instrument is important as that is what you will be using to play and practice with at home. 

  • Do you teach any other instruments outside of Guitar?

    Yes, we offer private bass, ukulele and banjo lessons.

  • What sort of music will I learn?

    We teach everything from the fun of pop to the complexities of Classical heavy metal and jazz.

  • What if I can’t make a Guitar class after I'm enrolled due to sickness etc?

    That's fine, you can request a catch-up lesson, these are subject to availability & do not carry beyond a term.

Paul

Paul started Playing age 7 working as a professional performer for over 40 years. Paul started Teaching in 1990.

 Paul has taught many children & Adults to play. Paul was a  Guitar tutor at TIGs for 17 years retiring in 2020. Teaching all styles of guitar, including rock, finger picking Jazz and classical. Paul has played in many bands, "Bourbon Alley" "the Charlie Harper Band" & "South Beach Boogie" to name a few. He teaches guitar, banjo, ukulele and bass.

Brandon

Brandon has been playing guitar for over 15 years. He is proficient in all styles, including extended range guitars and bass all levels. He holds a Bachelor's of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
